What is an EIN and why do I need one?

Even if you have no plans to hire anyone, the EIN is simply a tax ID that the IRS issues to every business.

In order to facilitate bank card (AMEX, MasterCard, VISA, etc.) payments (on your behalf), our processing bank needs to record your EIN.

How do I get an EIN?

What do I do once I have my EIN?

Once you have been issued your EIN, be sure to Download and Save your EIN Confirmation Letter.

Next, you can complete your PAYYAP Account Configuration and Activation process!

Simply, open the PAYYAP App on your mobile device, "Select Your Account" and navigate your way to STEP3/4 ("Business Identity").

Confirm the required fields, associated with your "Business Identity"...

And at the end you will see a "pull-down-menu" where you can select your Business Type. -- Select: “Registered Sole Proprietor”.

In the very last field (text box), entitled Business Tax (EIN) ID, type in your newly acquired EIN (Tax ID Number).

Well done!!

You can then click SAVE and Continue...
